So I got five finals and one presentation in the next four days. We'll see how it goes.

For those keeping tab, I have law and finance on Monday, accounting and economics on Tuesday and my presentation and marketing on Wednesday.

I'll get a consistent posting schedule going over break, but for now, I'm just trying to get by for the rest of the semester. Good luck on finals to all of my fellow college buddies!

Thought of the day: Connection

Did you ever stop to think about how connected you are to everyone? If you haven't, take a moment to think about it. It's kinda scary. Below is my list.

Yahoo e-mail
Quinnipiac e-mail
Land phone
Snail mail
Windows Communicator

That's 14 different ways right there. And that took me all of a minute to think of. Pretty scary stuff. Almost like one may take all of the ways they are connected and can communicate with others.

So the next time that you think that you aren't connected to anyone, just think of your list and remember how lucky you are to have all of these forms of communication. Some people only have one way of communication and do not take it forgranted. Why should we?

I'm back

Hey lovely followers,

So this semester has been really hectic, so while I did really enjoy the blog, I had to give it up so I could do everything else. I may still be a little slow over the next week or so with the semester winding down which means finals. But, I will do the best I can to keep up.

I'll clarify everything up in a later post, but I'm back.

How about them Giants?!?

I had the game on mute while watching the Monk season finale on my laptop. I was getting excited when they scored twice in the final two minutes of the first half, but I figured the flop would come in the second half so I didn't let my enthusiasm get the best of me.

Once Jacobs got his ridiculous touchdown, I was sooo pumped. I was finishing up Monk, but I now had the game on and started paying attention to it. The game continued to impress me, with Hixon coming up with the punt return for the TD.

Could this be the spark the Giants needed? One game back and 3-1 in the division. We're home vs. the Eagles next Sunday on SNF, followed by a visit to the Redskins on Monday Night Football. If we win the next two weeks, it is my prediction that the Giants will win the NFC East. Call me a dreamer, but they will be 9-5 and 5-1 in the division. I'm going to stick to my call.

What a game, what a game!

Food for thought...

Here are some stats from the Giants game through the first quarter:

First Downs: Giants 11, Raiders 0
Total Yards: Giants 219, Raiders 18
Time of possession: Giants 10:57, Raiders 3:53
Score: Giants 14, Raiders 0

Should be an interesting rest of the game. Stay tuned!

NY Giants game

Hey all,

The Giants are playing on CBS today, not the usual FOX. If you are up here at QU, the game is in high def on channels 02-1 and 03-1.

And also for all of you wondering about Eli, he is slated to start the game today.

Let's go Big Blue!!

Midterm Madness

The sophomore class cabinet of the Student Government Association is putting on an event this Sunday. The event, which will take place in Alumni Hall from 8:30 p.m.-11:00 p.m. on Sunday night is called Midterm Madness. The name is self-explanatory. Since there are many midterms coming up and the library is most likely going to be packed, we are turning Alumni Hall into a study lounge.

If you want to study/do homework in a location other than the library, stop by Alumni Hall. We do have free gifts for the first 100 people who come. Throughout the study session, we will have snacks and drinks available in the rear of Alumni Hall.

It's a pretty unique opportunity, and there is free food. When you are doing homework tomorrow night, feel free to stop Alumni Hall and say hi.

This is a sophomore class event, so it is targeted to sophomores, but feel free to stop by and use the space.

Who: You!
What: Study in a quiet lounge other than the library
Where: Alumni Hall
When: Sunday, Oct. 11 at 8:30 p.m.
Why: Library is going to be packed and we have free stuff!

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at or any of the other sophomore class representatives!
